Acting Projects
As an actress, I have been cast in a variety of genres on both stage and film. It is both an incredible and a fun challenge to perform in two such different acting styles.

Captain Allenby, lead. Avalon Universe: a Star Trek fan film production. March 2023
This film was shot in two short days on location at Neutral Zone Studios in Georgia. In 2025, I won "Best Actress" from Star Trek Fan Film Showrunner Awards. This film has been officially selected for the 2025 Fort Smith International Film Festival, Rogers Short Film Festival, and the Atomacon Film Festival.

Once and Future Captain
Commander Allenby, lead. Avalon Universe: a Star Trek fan film production. December 2022 - October 2023 (Post production)
In this episode, Commander Mikayla Allenby takes on the true test of leadership. We shot this in bits and pieces over time on location in Flippin, Arkansas and at Neutral Zone Studios in Georgia. Currently unreleased to the public.

Commanders Allenby, leads. Avalon Universe: a Star Trek fan film production. October 2022 - 2023
Exploring the concept of multiple realities meant taking on multiple personalities. I played at least six different versions of the original Commander Allenby, two of them acting as my co-leads. Talk about a lot lines, costume, and hair/make-up changes. This massive undertaking was so much fun and proof of movie making magic! In 2024, I won "Best Actress" from Star Trek Fan Film Showrunner Awards. The film itself won multiple other awards, to include "Best Fan Film". In 2023, the film won "Best Star Trek Fan Film" from the Director's Choice Awards. I received the MVP award from DCA. Filmed at multiple locations in Northwest Arkansas, as well as Neutral Zone Studios in Georgia.

Say Hello
Carly, lead. John Brown University Senior Film, Lainee Stiver, director. October 2022
This is the story of a young woman wrestling with her childhood trauma as she prepares for her wedding. The script, inspired by a true story, contains themes of drug abuse and child neglect. Being given such a raw character to portray was both an honor and a challenge.
Selected for the 2022 Arkansas Cinema Society, Great Wonders Uplift Film Festival, and the Rock City Film Festival.

Commander Allenby, lead. Avalon Universe: a Star Trek fan film production. May - July 2022
My first debut as the Commander! We filmed at Warp 66 Studios in Harrison, Arkansas. The second I slipped on the blue uniform, I was hooked. I am forever grateful to the director, Josh Irwin, for taking a chance on me to fill the shoes of this beloved character that he created specifically for his daughter.

Destiny
Finaly, lead. John Brown University Senior Film and Sutton Studios, Noah Sutton, director. March - April 2022.
Originally, the casting call was for a male role. I reached out to the director/writer asking if he would consider the role as a female. We tried it out and it worked! This film was the catalyst for expanding the fantasy world, to include Sutton's upcoming project: The Legends of Thira: Daughter of Heirdur.
Selected for the 2022 Reel East Texas Film Festival, First-Time Filmmaker Sessions, and the NFA International Film Festival.
Winner of "Short Film Creative" at the 2022 Christian Georgia Film Online.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
Grace Bradley, adult lead. Arkansas Public Theatre. October - December 2021.
My first time stepping back on stage since earning a Theatre Arts degree in college. This play helped fan the flames of my love of acting. I knew that I missed this world, and after the pandemic nearly killed the arts, I jumped at the chance to start auditioning again. Being in this show gave me the confidence to re-enter the beautiful world of storytelling through stage and film.

A Wrinkle in Time
Mrs. Who, principle. Dordt University. August - October 2017.
Juggling being classy and chic with high levels of other worldly intelligence, made for such a dynamic combination on stage. This famous tale is not one I grew up reading, but I was delighted to learn how many people already loved the story, and bring it to life in a fresh way.

Wasted Time
Lucy, supporting. John Brown University Senior Film, Chloe Vasey, director. January 2024
As a ghost, we had to work a few tricks to have me "appear" on camera, which was quite funny, especially considering the seriousness of the script. I played the long dead wife/mother, respectively, to the two male leads, Mark Landon Smith and Harrison Baxley (pictured).

The Guilty Perspective
Jenny Melhurst, supporting. John Brown University Senior Film, Mary Bonds, director. September - October 2023
Based on "A Tell Tale Heart" by Edgar Allen Poe, this spooky script follows Chris (Harrison Baxley, pictured) as he has a mental breakdown, leading to the revelation that he may have killed his friend. As the supportive girlfriend, it was my role to try to help him not fall apart in the midst of the panic attacks.
Selected for the Dancing Turtle Film Festival.
