Up and Running (crawling... stumbling)

At long last, the website is finally up! I'm curled up on the couch with two napping dogs, a mug of hot tea, and a gluten-free snack from Trader Joes (not an ad, but I would gladly be an influencer for them. Not that they need the help :P)

First off, I have to give credit where credit is due and that is to the amazing photographer Savannah Green!!! The photos of Yours Truly are all shot by Savannah for a project. Second piece of business, websites are absolutely not my business. But here we are! It is up and running, or as my blog title implies, crawling or even just stumbling along. I'm so open to ideas that others may have or resources for learning to build and understand how a website works. I find all of it overwhelming. So after years of saying I would build a website, I finally got the dang thing built and a domain purchased. Woo hoo!

I specifically remember sitting down at Coffea, a cute little coffee shop chain in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and starting the initial build. Welp, that was at least six years ago. Maybe seven. That's a long time to say you're going to do something.

Moral of the story? Stop waiting. It doesn't have to be perfect. You don't need all the answers. Just get up and run. Or crawl. Or stumble ;)
